Specialties
I work with clients across a range of concerns, with particular depth in the areas below:
Addiction &
Emotional Escape
When coping turns into numbing, avoiding, or escaping, there is often something deeper driving the pattern. I work with individuals navigating substance use, process addictions, and other coping patterns that leave them feeling stuck in cycles they cannot seem to break. Together, we explore not only the pattern itself, but the emotional needs and experiences fueling it.
Many clients come to therapy focused on the problem itself, only to discover it has been serving a purpose. Recovery is not simply about stopping. It is about understanding what the pattern has been doing for you, addressing the underlying causes, and developing healthier ways of coping. This work can create greater clarity, stability, and freedom.
High-Performance
& Pressure
You are used to performing at a high level and being relied on by others. The expectations are demanding, the pace is relentless, and there is often an internal pressure to get it right and hold it together. From the outside, you may appear successful, capable, and in control, while privately carrying stress, self-criticism, or a sense that there is little room for your own needs.
I work with high-performing professionals, athletes, and individuals navigating environments where achievement is expected and vulnerability feels like a liability. Together, we address perfectionism, self-imposed pressure, and the emotional cost of carrying so much responsibility for so long. My approach is direct, focused, and tailored to the realities of your life.
Trauma & Healing
Some experiences do not simply stay in the past. They continue to shape how you think, feel, and respond in the present. You may notice this in patterns of anxiety, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or feeling stuck in ways that do not fully make sense.
Using an attachment-focused, nervous system-informed approach, including AF-EMDR, I help clients process what remains unresolved and shift longstanding patterns at a deeper level. Unlike approaches that focus primarily on symptom reduction, Attachment-Focused EMDR also considers how early relationships and unmet emotional needs continue to shape present-day experiences. This work is not about revisiting the past for its own sake, but about freeing yourself from what has been quietly shaping your experience.
Relationships & Intimacy
Intimacy is a core part of being human, yet many people struggle to feel truly connected to others and themselves. You may find yourself repeating familiar patterns in relationships, feeling anxious, disconnected, or never quite settled. We explore the attachment patterns shaping how you connect, trust, and relate, creating space for something more secure and fulfilling.
I also work with individuals navigating intimacy disorders, compulsive sexual behaviors, and love addiction. Rather than focusing solely on the behavior, we explore the underlying needs, fears, and relational patterns driving it. The goal is not simply symptom reduction, but developing a healthier relationship with yourself, your sexuality, and your capacity for genuine connection.
